Squarepusher - Feed Me Weird Things Japanese Edition (1997). Quality: MP3 320 kbps / FLAC (tracks) Total Time: 01:16:28. Total Size: 176.
@Gille and jm666 s: Ah, now I understand. I didn't understand what Fredrik meant previously. I am new to this site, so bear with me. Also, I don't mean to inconvenience people here by adding additional reading material, but I do think the problem I am discussing here (why the last iteration of the loop is not being stored in the array) is distinct from the one mentioned in the last post. I tried searching Google, but I couldn't find a solution that addressed this particular problem (I will continue looking).
I will take your advice, Gilles, and use the set -x debugging method. Thanks.–May 27 '11 at 22:54.

Hey guys, I've just been getting into Squarepusher in a big way. I love his work so much, I think he's unbelievably talented.Unfortunately, I have no idea why his first album is so elusive and hard to find. I've searched for any way to pay the man for his phenomenal work for this first album but I simply couldn't find any avenue for me to legally get this album.I've never agreed with torrenting artist's work, but on this occasion I couldn't see any other alternative. I began searching the internet for a high quality mp3 version of this album, but I couldn't find it anywhere. I actually torrented a full discography of Squarepusher, simply to discard all of it to just have the Feed Me Weird Things. However, the album was a low-quality, shoddy rip with some songs sliced in half.I'm here to ask, why is this so impossible to find?
Squarepusher is one of the most innovative producer's out there, who is rightfully on the Essential List of this subreddit. (I hope this post doesn't get deleted because it's about the portfolio of Squarepusher). I just don't know where else to go. I think it's super crazy that this seminal work by one of the most influential artists of the past 25 years is simply unavailable to purchase and to download. If anyone has any hints as to why this is such an issue, I'd love to hear them. It's baffling, I'd be furious if I couldn't pay Aphex Twin for Richard D. James album, so why can't I pay Squarepusher for one of his best works? Has it simply been overlooked, or is there a rights issue? If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them.
It's such a shame because Feed Me Weird Things is a stunning jazz/breakbeat album perfectly engineered by Squarepusher. At this point I'm thinking about using a youtube converter, but that leads to extra work with tags and there's no assurance of quality. Thanks in advance, if anyone knows of any way to buy this album then I'd love to hear it. 31 copies available for sale here, looks like it'll run you about $10 for a CD:As for the rarity, it looks like it was never pressed in the US and only got one (UK) repress in the early 2000s, so I doubt many copies ever found their way across the pond, especially in the years before Amazon.com really took off.
And as stated elsewhere in the thread, there probably just isn't enough demand for another pressing or the legal legwork involved in licensing the album for iTunes. I'd wager there won't be a repress until at least the 20th anniversary or some sort of retrospective box set comes out.So, yes, you can get a HQ copy, but no, you can't give Tom Jenkinson your money for it. Chalk it up to the rapid changes of the turn-of-the-century music industry and buy a T-shirt from his website or something:P.
